COURSE DESCRIPTION
This unit describes the skills and knowledge
required to recognise and respond to lifethreatening
emergencies in line with the
Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
This unit applies to all workers who may be
required to provide an emergency response in a
range of situations, including community and
workplace settings.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
There are no formal entry requirements to this
program. However, it is expected that students
will have sound literacy and numeracy skills.

ASSESSMENTS
Assessment methods include written
assignments, case studies, role plays and practical
demonstrations

Full fee for this course is $150. Fees are payable
prior to commencement of the course
